Fred has over 25 years’ experience leading companies from start-up to Fortune 100 technology companies in solutions engineering and integration, product commercialization, and organizational readiness.
Prior to joining Vi Dimensions, Fred held multiple roles as the Interim CEO, COO, CCO, EVP of Engineering and Product Development for GiantGray, a multi-sensor cognitive and machine learning analytic solution provider. Prior to GiantGray, Fred was the Engineering and Quality Assurance Manager for Johnson Control’s Fire and Security Division. Fred also served as Vice President of Engineering for Bioscrypt, Vice President of Engineering for A4Vision, Director of Engineering and Product Management for Diebold Card Systems, and Vice President of Information Systems for Oberthur Card Systems.
Fred held leadership roles to conceptualize, design, integrate and launch Physical and Logical Access Control solutions using multi-modal technologies that include Finger and 3D Facial Biometrics, Single-Sign-On Authentication, and conventional access control technologies that includes Smart Cards, Proximity, and Magnetic Stripe. Fred has also led the integration of Video Surveillance, Video Analytics and Video Management Systems with various access control security systems.

Dr Christopher Tay

Christopher is the technical Co-founder and Chief Scientist of Vi Dimensions.
His PhD research was conducted at the L’Institut national de recherche en informatique et en automatique (INRIA) Rhone-Alpes, during which publications were made mainly in the areas target tracking, sensor fusion, localization and mapping, and Bayesian machine learning. He later worked with Probayes, an INRIA spinoff related to the industrial applications of machine learning and big data in computer vision and robotics across a wide variety of application domains; from gesture recognition or visual parcel tracking to aerial drone imagery. His work on the computation of collision probability between vehicles in urban environments conducted in Probayes and INRIA was awarded a US/Europe patent jointly held with Toyota Motors Europe. He is generally interested in the real-world applications and implementation of machine learning, computer vision and is fascinated by the growing impact it makes.
Christopher received the B.Eng degree in Computer Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore in 2003. He then obtained the MS and PhD degrees in Computer Science (with specialty in Imagery, Vision and Robotics) from the French Grande Ecole, National Polytechnical Institute of Grenoble (INPG), in 2004 and 2009 respectively financed by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs Scholarship and INRIA fellowship.

Dr Roberto Mariani is an accomplished technology entrepreneur with 21 years working experience in Asia. He is French, Italian and has lived in France, Singapore, India, South Korea, China, Thailand and Malaysia. His core expertise is in computer vision, object recognition, face recognition, machine learning, machine translation and deep learning.
Dr Mariani holds 8 patents, won 15 International Awards in Security and Media and was a finalist at the World Technology Award in San Francisco in 2006 (along with Wikipedia founder, Expedia founders). In London in 2006, his start-up finished #2 worldwide against a listed company for the best technology in Security, after beginning as #1 in Asia and promoted by the Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA) in Singapore. Dr Mariani has also published extensively with papers accepted in international journals and conferences, and AI chapters in books. He was guest speaker in 13 international events around the globe as well as interviewed by BBC, filmed by ARTE in Europe, and participated in ChannelNewsAsia live biometric debates.

Khing Tat is the VP of Sales and Marketing of Vi Dimensions. He assists the Board in defining and executing the go-to-market strategy for ARVAS. He is responsible for the global sales operations, building up global distribution channels, arranging strategic partnerships, and engagement with end users.
Khing Tat has more than 16 years of experience in the Physical Security Industry. He started his career with one of the largest system integration house in Singapore involved in large scale projects for Integrated Security System including but not limited to Access Control, Video Management & Analytics, Parking Guidance and Management, Intelligent Building Management et al. During his stay, he was instrumental in bringing in the first Integrated Security Project in the United Arab Emirates and successfully set up an operation there where he headed the Business Development activities. He then spent 4 years in a leading private security firm in Singapore, where he was engaged for the business development activities for the security consulting business covering the Middle East market and later moved on to the International Business Development unit looking at M&A activities for emerging markets.
Khing Tat received his B.Eng degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore in 2001.

Curtis Cole has worked in the technology sector for the last 25 years, beginning with his time as an Aviation Radar Technician in the U.S. Marine Corps.
He prides himself with helping customers understand complex technology, and has done so with clients such as Continental Airlines, Central Bank of Denmark, Thailand’s Ministry of Transport and many others. Curtis was instrumental in successfully installing the product suite at sites around the globe, working with customers in a lead support role, and communicating customer feedback to other account stakeholders.
In addition, Curtis has managed the IT team at several of his previous positions, where he maintained a high standard of support from Layer 1 to 7.
